ExxonMobil recruits a SCP Chemist – Singapore

Responsibilities :

•  Implement and maintain best practices for chemical analysis, develop new test methods and troubleshoot test processes
•  Provide guidance to the laboratory technicians and analytical support to various manufacturing business units
• Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvements of the laboratory quality management system
•  Assess test methods and conduct chemistry training for the laboratory technicians
• Manage quality control programs in the laboratory
• Perform risk assessment on laboratory systems to develop maintenance and replacement strategies
•  Evaluate, validate and commission new analytical equipment

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
•  Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
• Prior working experience in the petrochemical or refining industry will be an advantage
•  Good communication skills
•  Able to work in a team
