The Zambezi Watercourse Commission (ZAMCOM) has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the implementation of the regional Programme for Integrated Development and Adaptation to Climate Change (PIDACC). The aim of the consultancy is to analyze the role of land governance in reversing, reducing, and avoiding land degradation and its support in achieving Member States’ land degradation neutrality targets. The services included in this assignment are to undertake an in-depth analysis of the land governance policies and regulations highlighting opportunities and challenges that could facilitate achieving land degradation neutrality targets. The Project Coordination Unit, for the PIDACC Zambezi Regional Project, has been tasked with the project management functions and the maximum duration for this assignment is four (4) calendar months.
ZAMCOM now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested individual consultants must provide information indicating that they are available and qualified to perform the services (submit updated curriculum vitae/CVs, with descriptions of similar assignments, etc.).
Eligibility criteria, the establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations” (BPM), dated October 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
