INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) – ICT Equipment

1. This Specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which appeared in Development Business Issue on June 12, 2015, and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (afdb.org) ;
2. The Government of the State of Eritrea has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Public Financial Management and Statistics Capacity Building (PFM & SCB) Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of ICT equipment for the Ministry of Finance, Treasury Department ;
3. The Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Finance now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of ICT equipment for MoF, Treasury Department ;
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of PIU–MoF, Denden St. 175, Head Office, Room No. 60, P.O.Box: 198, Asmara, Eritrea, Tel: +291-1-200404, Fax: +291-1-126899, Email: eftesfai@gmail.com, and/or hnkbereket@gmail.com ;
5. A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained by interested bidders on the submission of a written application (with the name and full address of the applicant) to the email address eftesfai@gmail.com, and/or hnkbereket@gmail.com. No fee is due. The bidding documents will only be available electronically ;
6. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods ;
7. Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 16:00 hour’s local time (GMT +3) on May 18, 2020 and must be accompanied by a security: in the amount of ERN 45,000 or USD 3,000 unconditional guarantee issued by a Bank ;
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 16:00 hours local time (GMT +3) on May 18, 2020, at the office of PIU–MoF, Denden St. 175, Ministry of Finance, Conference Room, 1^st Floor, Asmara, Eritrea
