The Government of Angola has applied for financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Coastal Towns Inclusive Sanitation Project Phase I, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Consultancy Service for
Construction Supervision of Faecal Sludge Management Facilities in Benguela, Baia Farta, Catumbela and Lobito (CO01-CTSIP1/22).
The main objective of the service is to carry out Construction Supervision and Contract Administration of the Construction works of Faecal Sludge Transfer Stations and Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants at Benguela, Baía Farta, Lobito and Catumbela Towns which are located in Benguela Province of Angola. The Ministry of Energy and Water (MINEA) through National Directorate of Water (DNA) will be the Executing Agency (EA) of the Project. The Works Contracts will be executed in two separate Lots. First Lot will be for the Works in Benguela and Baía Farta towns and Second Lot Works will be in Lobito and Catumbela Towns. The construction duration is estimated to be 24 months and expected to commence January 2024.
The National Directorate of Water of Ministry of Water and Energy of Angola now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework dated 2015 which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
Interested Consulting firms may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Angolan Time).
