Over the last four years, Living Goods has become a more complex organization with multiple implementation modes, exciting opportunities in new countries, and new partnerships in existing countries. Furthermore, while we have delivered some strong work in technology over the last couple of years, we now need to go the extra mile beyond technology and ensure a much greater emphasis on government partnerships in the broader digital health space. The successful candidate will be joining a fast-growing energetic technical team and use their extensive knowledge, experience, and skills to maintain and enhance all ICT infrastructures and applications.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Ensure the daily operations of all IT resources and the enforcement of the cybersecurity policies adopted by the organization. Provide technical support to end users.
  • Knowledge, Experience, and Attributes or skills
  • Conduct routine maintenance of all LG BF IT assets, software, and a wide range of business-critical applications.
  • Support the technical system deployment and day-to-day support for the company’s ERP systems.
  • Maintain inventory management for all IT assets used by all LG BF and field staff.
  • Conduct ICT-related training for several groups drawn across all functions of the LG BF office.
  • Contribute to policy development for IT-related areas like asset management, procurement, repair, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical support to all staff and operational needs including IT onboarding, training, backups, user account creation, and management for LG BF systems.
  • Monitor bandwidth utilization on the WAN links and implement necessary control policies on the network devices.
  • Execute day-to-day technical support to ensure the LAN and WAN is working efficiently.
  • Provide technical support for the rollout of BF eCHIS across several initiatives under LG BF.
  • Maintains security knowledge and skillsets to work with new technologies so that security delivery is current, procedurally documented, and aligns with ISO 27001 and NIST CSF security controls.
  • Develops, maintains, and reviews a library of security procedures and knowledge base articles.
  • Serves as the key technical point for M365 security-related issues.
  • Implements recommendations from internal /external audits and other external consultants to ensure compliance with the org governance frameworks and available features in Microsoft M365.
  • Executes daily O365 Email and ATP security administration tasks and resolves assigned tickets.
  • Maintains standardized server and database configurations and executes change controls for those configurations consistent with IT policy and processes.
  • Monitors and/or reviews system activity to identify potential or existing vulnerabilities and acts to mitigate and resolve these threats.
  • Set up patch management systems to update applications automatically.
  • Take the lead on day-to-day monitoring for unusual activities, implement defensive protocols, and report incidents.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and investigate security-related, Information Systems anomalies based on security platform reporting, network traffic, log files, host-based, and automated security alerts.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts/logs and information and distribute it to appropriate personnel.
  • Protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
  • Configure security devices and infrastructure following management guidelines and technical specifications.
  • Analyze system logs, performance issues, and the production environment for mission-critical systems.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or any other relevant Information Technology Degree.
  • Minimum three (03) years of experience in hands-on System Administration in a busy integrated multi-office environment
  • Experience in IT security governance and Cyber training and awareness would be a great advantage.
  • System Administration certification desirable – Microsoft Azure, CCNA, Unix systems certifications
  • Security Administration certification desirable – e.g. CompTIA, Certified hacking (CEH), relevant Microsoft Azure security certification tracks,
  • Formal Certification desirable – IT security governance, Cyber training, and awareness
  • Must demonstrate hands-on skills and previous experience in implementing security aspects related to networking, use of the Internet, and integrated cloud solutions. This includes aspects such as authentication, access control, firewalls, disaster prevention and recovery, intrusion detection, encryption, and data integrity. Other technical skills include components like managing hacking incident response, virus protection, and running automated system audits and intrusion simulations.
  • Must have at least three (03) years of experience acquired while working to implement security configurations and policies with Microsoft platforms and system/security tools – e.g., Security and compliance center, investigations, security score module.
  • Competencies/Attributes:
  • Analytical skills. Analytical skills to evaluate network and system performance issues and determine how changes in the environment will affect business users.
  • Communication skills. Must be able to describe problems and their solutions to peers in the HQ, Branch, and non-IT workers in the field operations.
  • Computer skills. The Administrators oversee the connections of many different types of computer equipment and must ensure that they all work together properly.
  • Multitasking skills. Administrators will be required to work on many problems and tasks at the same time.
  • Problem-solving skills. The Administrator must be able to quickly resolve any problems that arise with computers, and networks and share timely updates to all affected stakeholders.
  • Incident Management skills. The Administrator must be well experienced with end-to-end service management processes including appropriate escalations and communication across a wide range of stakeholders.
English proficiency is a plus.
